RecordingFor details on [Rec] Mode menu settings, refer to P36.Using this mode, jitter during picture taking is detected, and the camera automaticallycompensates for the jitter, enabling jitter-free images to be taken.Applicable modes: l__[ONI/[OFF]• The stabilizer function may not be effective in the following cases.-When there is a lot of jitter.-When the zoom magnification is high.- In Digital Zoom range.-When taking pictures while following a moving subject.-When the shutter speed becomes slower to take pictures indoors or in dark places.Be careful of camera jitter when you press the shutter button.• The setting is fixed to [ON] in [Self Portrait] or [Handheld Night Shot] in Scene Mode or inrecording motion pictures.• The setting is fixed to [OFF] in [Starry Sky] in Scene Mode.For details on [Rec] Mode menu settings, refer to P36.You can take a picture with date and time of recording.Applicable modes: r_l_[_] ([W/O TIME]) Stamp the year, month, and day.[_] ([WITH TIME]) Stamp the year, month, day, hour, and minutes.[OFF]• Date information for pictures recorded with the [Date Stamp] set cannot be deleted.• When printing pictures with [Date Stamp] at a shop or with a printer, the date will beprinted on top of the other if you choose to print with the date.• Date information cannot be stamped into the pictures recorded without setting the clock.• The setting is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.- In [Panorama Assist], [Hi-Speed Burst] and [Flash Burst] in Scene Mode-[Auto Bracket] and [Burst] in [Rec] Mode menu-When recording motion pictures• [Text Stamp], [Resize] and [Cropping] cannot be set for pictures recorded with [Date Stamp]set.• Even if you take a picture with [Date Stamp] set to [OFF], it is possible to stamp dates into therecorded pictures using [Text Stamp] (PI02) or setup the Date print (PI08, 133).For details on [Rec] Mode menu settings, refer to P36.• Refer to P16 for details.-89-
