42Formatting a CardIf a Card becomes unreadable by the Movie Camera, formatting it may makeit reusable. Formatting erases all the data recorded on a Card.1 Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD EDITING] >> [CARDFORMAT] >> [YES].≥Since a confirmation message appears, select [YES] and formatting will becarried out.≥When the formatting is completed, the screen becomes white.≥It may not be possible to use the Card which was formatted using this MovieCamera on another unit. In this case, format the Card on the unit which willbe using the Card. Take steps to ensure that valuable files are stored on thepersonal computer, etc. as well before proceeding.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Writing Printing Data on a Card(DPOF Setting)DPOF Setting Printing data (DPOF Settings), such as the number of imagesto be printed, can be written to the Card. “DPOF” means Digital Print OrderFormat.1 Slide the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Switch to [PICTURE].2 Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD EDITING] >>[DPOF SETTING] >> [YES] >> [VARIABLE].≥To print all pictures one at a time, select [ALL 1]. When all images arenot printed, select [ALL 0].3 Select a desired picture and press the [PUSH] Dial.≥The number of prints set by DPOF is displayed. 1≥The selected image is marked with a frame.4 Turn the [PUSH] Dial and select the number of pictures to beprinted, and press the [PUSH] Dial.≥When DPOF setting is set to 1 or more files, the [μ] Indication 2appears in white. When both DPOF setting (is set to 1or more files) andSlide Show setting are completed, the [μ] Indication 2 appears inblue.5 Repeat Step 3 and 4 and press the [MENU] Button when thesetup is completed.To Verify DPOF SettingSelect [VERIFY] in Step 2 above. The pictures for which 1 or more print is setin DPOF are played back continuously.≥The number of prints can be set from 0 to 99.≥Perform the DPOF Settings with your own Movie Camera in use.≥Verifying the DPOF Settings may take a little time.
