Record mode23VQT0T85Zoom in/out functionYou can zoom in up to 10k optically.≥Set to Tape/Card Recording Mode.1 Wide-angle recording (zoom out):Push the [W/T] lever towards [W].Close-up recording (zoom in):Push the [W/T] lever towards [T].≥When zooming in and taking a picture whileholding the movie camera by hand, werecommend using the image stabilizer function.≥When you are zooming on a faraway subject, asharper focus is achieved if the recordingsubject is 1.2 metres or further from the moviecamera.≥When the zoom speed is high, the subject maynot be focused easily.≥When the zoom magnification is 1k, the moviecamera can focus on a subject approx. 4 cmdistant from the lens.ª Digital zoom functionIf the zoom magnification exceeds 10 times, thenthe digital zoom function will be activated. You can record persons in front of thecamera while presenting them the image. Theimage is horizontally flipped as if you see a mirrorimage. (The image to be recorded is the same asthat recording.)1 Rotate the LCD monitor towards the lensside.≥When the LCD monitor is opened, theviewfinder will be automatically turned off.
