10121Lens Cap and Grip BeltªAttach the Lens CapTo protect the Lens surface, attach the Lens Cap.1 Pass the end of the Lens Cap String through the Lens CapString holder.2 Pass the other end of the String through the loop made bythe String itself and pull it toward the direction indicated byan arrow.3 Fit the lens cap onto the lens cap string.≥The removed Lens Cap can be hooked onto the Grip Belt 1. (When youare not recording, be sure to keep the Lens Cap attached to the Lens forprotection.)ªAdjust the Grip BeltAdjust the length of the Grip Belt to the size of your hand.1111Detach the tip of the Grip Belt and adjust the length of it.2222Reattach the Grip Belt.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Attaching the Shoulder StrapWe recommend that you attach the Shoulder Strap before going out of doorsto record so as to avoid dropping the Movie Camera.1 Pull the end of the Shoulder Strap through the ShoulderStrap Holder on the Movie Camera.2 Fold the tip of the Shoulder Strap, run it through theShoulder Strap Length Adjuster, and pull it.≥Pull it out more than 2 cm 1 from the Shoulder Strap Length Adjusterso that it cannot slip off.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Inserting a Cassette1 Slide the [OPEN/EJECT] Lever toward the front and pulldown to open the Cassette Compartment.2 Insert a Cassette.3 Close the Cassette Compartment by pressing the[PUSH CLOSE] Button.4 Close the Cassette Compartment Cover.ªAccidental Erasure PreventionOpening the accidental erasure prevention slider 1 on the cassette (bysliding it in the [SAVE] arrow direction) prevents recording.
