(The [MOTIONSENSOR] Indication flashes.)≥A very small subject.≥Movement of the subject near the edge of thepicture.≥A background with horizontal or vertical stripes.≥To prevent accidental recording start caused byMovie Camera movement, the Movie Camerashould be mounted on a tripod or be otherwisesecured in a very stable position.≥Although you can select a Digital Effect on the[DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu when [MOTIONSENSOR] on the [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu isset to [ON], the Motion Sensor Function haspriority and the selected digital effect isautomatically cancelled.≥When [MOTION SENSOR] on the [CAMERASETUP] Sub-Menu is set to [ON], it is not possibleto manually start recording by pressing theRecording Start/Stop Button or to activate theRecording Check or Camera Search Function.≥When you use the AC adaptor to power the MovieCamera, the Motion Sensor Function Stand-byMode will continue when no movement is detectedin the picture, even when the tape has reached theend during recording.≥To ensure correct functioning of the Motion SensorFunction, the moving subject should be quite largein the picture. Therefore, when you have zoomedthe lens to the maximum wide-angle position, thedistance between lens and subject shouldpreferably be within about 2 metres. For subjectsat larger distances, be sure to zoom in accordingly.≥The Movie Camera requires time to set up beforerecording starts. Therefore, the beginning ofmovement is not recorded.≥If there is a power interruption, the Motion SensorFunction is cancelled.≥Approximately 1 second after the MovieCamera’s Motion Sensor has detectedmovement in the picture, recording automaticallystarts.
