This also shows youapproximately how much more continuous recording time youcan get from the attached Battery. The indicated time doesnot change in 1-minute steps.The above illustrations show how the Remaining BatteryOperation Time Indication changes according to theremaining operation time.: Actual remaining battery operation timeA: Remaining Battery Operation Time Indication(This indication does not appear when recording in theMirror Mode.) (l 126)Remaining Battery Operation Time IndicationThis Indication shows the remaining duration of continuousrecording at an ambient temperature of 25oC when a fullycharged Battery was attached. Therefore, in the followingcases, the actual available recording time is different from thetimes shown above:When Recording Is Not Performed ContinuouslyIn most cases, you will frequently start and stop recording,turn the Movie Camera on and off, use the zoom and otherfunctions, all of which consume power. Therefore, the actualavailable recording time from the Battery is approximately30%– 50% shorter than listed. (l 22)When the Ambient Temperature Is Extremely Low orExtremely HighThe characteristics of the Battery vary according to theambient temperature, and at a very low temperature, thepossible recording time becomes extremely short. In addition,the Remaining Battery Operation Time Indication on theMovie Camera decreases a little faster than at an ambienttemperature of 25oC.(At a higher temperature, it tends to decrease more slowly.)When the Service Life of the Battery Has Reached Its EndWhen the operation time even after full charging is too shortfor normal use, the service life of the Battery has reached itsend.
