Manage the indicated problems as follows.Confirm the status of all indicators and projector, and switch off1.the projector in proper way.Find out the cause of the problem by status of the2. LAMP and/or TEMP indicators.Follow the following instruction for each indication and solve3.the problem.Turn on the projector in the correct way and confirm the4.indicator is not indicating a problem any longer.Power LAMP TEMPJ TEMP indicatorIndicatorIlluminating red while projecting and the alert will be displayed.Flashing red and the power button is turned off automatically.When the TEMP indicator is lit, the lamp might have darkened.Adjustments can be performed but not all changes will be shown on the image.Problem The temperature inside and/or outside the projector is abnormally high.Cause The air intake and exhaustports are covered.The room temperature istoo high.The air filter is excessivelydirty and the ventilation ispoor.The projector is locatedat high elevations (above1 400 - 2 700 m).RemedyRemove the object(s)from the ventilationopenings or clear aroundthe projector.Reinstall the projector ina temperature controlledplace. See page 32.Clean or replace the airfilter in the proper method.See page 26.Turn on the projector andset the HIGH ALTITUDEMODE to ON.See “INSTALLATION” ofthe functional instructionsthat is in the provided CD-ROM.J LAMP indicatorIndicator Illuminating red Flashing redProblem LAMP RUNTIME hasreached 1 800 hours. Lamp circuit failure, abnormal function or lamp unit is damaged.CauseThe lamp unit will run outsoon and needs to bereplaced.The power is turned onagain before the lamp unitis cooled enough.Lamp circuit failure,abnormal function.
