POSITION menuENGLISH - 35 SettingsQ 16:9The squeezed signal will be projected in 16:9 ratio.Q S4:3The input signal will be sized down 75 % andprojected. S4:3 mode is effective when projecting4:3 image on to a 16:9 screen.Q AUTOThe S1 signal which contains an identifying signalwill be detected and automatically project theimage in proper ratio.When the input signal resolution is lower than theprojector resolution, it will be projected at the projectorresolution. You can deactivate the RESIZING andproject the lower resolution input signal at its originalresolution. Press I H to select the required setting.ON ActiveOFF DeactiveIf the projected image is degraded, you can activateFRAME LOCK for synchronisation. Press I H to selectthe required option.OFF DeactiveON ActiveNOTE:• If you project an image with an unmatched aspect ratio,the image may distort or some portions may becropped. Select an aspect ratio which preserves theintention of the image creator.• The order of ASPECT types is defined not only by theinput method but also by the input signals. See “List ofcompatible signals” on page 46.• If you project a copyrighted image enlarged or distortedby using ASPECT function in commercial use in apublic place, such as a restaurant or hotel, you mightinfringe on the copyright of the creator which isprotected by copyright law.RESIZINGNOTE:• Usually the recommended setting is ON.• When the RESIZING is set to ON, the lower resolutioninput signal may be projected in less quality.When the RESIZING is set to OFF;• The size of the image will be projected smaller and youmay need to adjust ZOOM and FOCUS, or theprojector position backwards and forwards.• DIGITAL ZOOM, KEYSTONE and INDEX-WINDOWare not available.FRAME LOCKNOTE:• This function is available with COMPUTER signals only.
