It can beplayed back with Windows Media Player(ver.6.4 and later). Because of their smallsize, these files are well suited fortransmitting data through a telephone linesetc.. To play back moving picture withWindows Media Player, select a file anddouble click. Necessary software isautomatically downloaded and starts playingback. (Internet connection is required).≥[DCIM], [IM01CDPF], [PRIVATE], [VTF], [SD_VIDEO],[SD_VOICE] etc. are necessary items in the folderstructure. They have nothing to do with actual operations.≥In the Card Mode, the Palmcorder automatically saves filenumbers (Imga0001.jpg, etc.) along with the images. Thefile numbers are recorded with each image as consecutivenumbers.≥In the [SD_VC100] folder, the Voice data (Mob001.vmletc.) is recorded. It, however, cannot be played back on aPersonal Computer.≥The “SD_VOICE” folder and the Voice files in the folder areset as hidden. Depending on the settings of your personalcomputer, this hidden folder and these hidden files mightnot appear in Windows Explorer or the “My Computer”screen.≥The memory capacity indicated on the SD Card labelcorresponds to the total card capacity. Some of thiscapacity is used to protect and manage the copyright data,and not all capacity is available as conventional memoryfor a Palmcorder, Personal Computer or others.
