-3-WS-AT300• This speaker system is a 2-way bass-reflex typeincorporating a 38-cm (15”) woofer and a SquareContour Wave Guide (SCWG) horn tweeter.• The speaker system accepts a continuous programinput of 400 W or 200 W(RMS). It delivers highoutputs from its compact body with a maximumsound pressure level of 122 dB.• The SCWG horn minimizes the disturbing reflectionsound generated near the open end and to providea constant directivity of 60˚ (horizontal) and 40˚(vertical). You can easily attach again the horn tothe enclosure by turning it 90˚ as required forhorizontal or vertical speaker installation.• The enclosure has essential features such astoughness to transportation, a recessed typehandle for carrying, the convex and concave forstacking, holes for mounting bracket, safety wires,etc.PREFACEWS-AT350• This Subwoofer is a bass-reflex type incorporatinga 38-cm (15”) cone speaker and to be used withthe RAMSA Subwoofer Processor WS-SP2A.• The WS-AT350 accepts an input of 400 W (RMS). Itdelivers high outputs, though it is small in size, witha maximum sound pressure level of 118 dB.• The enclosure has essential features such astoughness to transportation, a recessed typehandle for carrying, the convex and concave forstacking, holes for mounting bracket, safety wires, etc.• Power loss may increase as the total speakerimpedance gets lower with a number of speakerhookups. Use the largest speaker cable in wiregauge to reduce power loss.• Switch off the power amplifiers before connectingthe speakers or other peripherals.• Avoid the followings all the time to protect thespeakers from damage.* Turning on and off mixing consoles and otherperipherals may cause shock noise when theamplifiers and subwoofer processor are on.* Shock noise resulting from the connection/disconnection of inputs/outputs with anypowered-up equipment* Pop noise from microphones withoutappropriate use of breath-pop screen and/orhigh-pass filter* Click noise caused by switching on or off thephantom power for microphones* Continuous operation at very low frequencyfrom an oscillator, synthesizer or programsourcesPRECAUTIONS* High frequency noise developed by fast-forward or fast-rewind operation of a tapedeck* Out of tune noise in FM broadcast* Feed-back from microphones or electronicsmusical instruments.• Match the polarities of all the speakers byobserving the connectors and wire colors whenusing two or more speakers.• Read “PROTECTION CIRCUITS” on page 8. Turndown the volume control of the amplifierimmediately if the sound suddenly decreases.• You should use the WS-AT350 Subwoofer all thetime with Subwoofer Processor WS-SP2A. The WS-SP2A processes the signal to protect the speakersfrom damage due to an excessive input signal.
