25 Troubleshooting10 At the confirmation message , press Y .The computer will reboot, and the operation of reinstalla-tion for the hard disk starts automatically.Windows 98After the “restore” procedure completes, a message willbe displayed. Remove the Product Recovery CD-ROM,then close the tray.1 Turn the computer off and remove the CD drive.2 Set the floppy disk drive in the multimedia pocket andput the FIRSTAID FD into the floppy disk drive, thenturn the computer on.Follow the on-screen instructions.Windows 2000 Windows NTWhen the message "insert the next CD" is displayed, in-sert the Product Recovery CD-ROM showing the nextnumber in the sequence, and then select [OK].(In the case of Windows NT, only Product Recovery CD-ROMs 1 and 2 can be used.)11 After the reinstallation procedure completes, the follow-ing message will appear on the display. Remove the floppydisk or Product Recovery CD-ROM, then restart the com-puter by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del .All data on the whole HDD has been restored to the factory default.After removing floppy disk, restart the computer and set up Windowsagain.Windows 98If [OK] is not immediately selected:The message "The media does not contain the correctfile" may appear. When [OK] is selected, the message"insert the next CD" will be displayed again.Confirm that the proper Product Recovery CD-ROMhas been inserted by opening the tray of the CD driveand then close the tray, then immediately select [OK].NOTEWindows NTWindows NT4.0 install wizard will start after reboot.Restore process will execute more after Windows NT4.0 install wizard.Restart the computer after removing Product Recovery CD-ROM.12 When the message [Press to enter SETUP] is dis-played, press F2 and then run the Setup Utility.If the password has been set, enter the Supervisor Pass-word.13 Press F9 .At the confirmation message, select [Yes] and then pressEnter . (The Setup Utility settings will return to theirdefault values.
