You can also check the computer’s status in the PC Information Viewer(Î Reference Manual “Checking the Computer’s Usage Status”).z When operating the computer with the keyboard, you need to set the computer to the Cradle and connect theexternal keyboard and AC adaptor to the Cradle. Starting UpCannot start up.The power indicator orbattery indicator is not lit.z Connect the AC adaptor.z Insert a fully charged battery.z Remove the battery pack and the AC adaptor, then connect them again.z If a device is connected to the USB port, disconnect the device, or set [Legacy USBSupport] to [Disabled] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility. Set thedisk and enter any wrong password, then follow the on-screen instructions and set anew password.y If you do not have a password reset disk, reinstall (Î page 21) and set up Windows,and then set a new password.“Remove disks or othermedia. Start the SetupUtility and make the settings again. (Note that the processing speed depends on theapplication software, so this procedure may not make Windows faster.)z If you installed a resident software after purchase, turn off the residence.z Disable the pop-up menu and Input Panel Tab.A Open the Input Panel, and click [Tools] - [Options] - [Opening].B Remove the check mark of [Show the Input Panel tab] and click [OK].z Disable Indexing Service in the following menu.Click [start] - [Search] - [Change preferences] - [With Indexing Service (for faster localservice)].The date and time areincorrect.z Make the correct settings.Click (Start) - [Control Panel] - [Clock, Language, and Region] - [Date and Time].Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options] - [Dateand Time].z If the problem persists, the internal clock battery may need to be replaced. ContactPanasonic Technical Support.z When the computer is connected to LAN, check the date and time of the server.z The 2100 A.D. or later year will not be correctly recognized on this computer.
