Before initiating operation, contact your dealer for theoperation that corresponds to your system type and mark.If your installation has a customized control system, ask your dealerfor the operation that corresponds to your system.Outdoor units (See figure 1)Names and functions of parts (See figure 1)(figure 1 shows systems with changeover remote control switches.)3. REMOTE CONTROLLERRefer to the operation manual of the remote controller.CAUTIONDo not use the air conditioner for other purposes.In order to avoid any quality deterioration, do not use theunit for cooling precision instruments, food, plants, animalsor works of art.To avoid oxygen deficiency, ventilate the roomsufficiently if equipment with burner is used togetherwith the air conditioner.After a long use, check the unit stand and fitting fordamage.If damaged, the unit may fall and result in injury.Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation, turn thebreaker off or pull out the supply cord.Otherwise, an electric shock and injury may result.Do not operate the air conditioner with a wet hand.An electric shock may result.Do not place appliances which produce open fire inplaces exposed to the air flow from the unit or underthe indoor unit. It may cause incomplete combustionor deformation of the unit due to the heat.Do not allow a child to mount on the outdoor unit oravoid placing any object on it.Falling or tumbling may result in injury.Never expose little children, plants or animals directlyto the air flow.Adverse influence to little children, animals and plants mayresult.Do not install the air conditioner at any place whereflammable gas may leak out.If the gas leaks out and stays around the air conditioner, afire may break out.Be sure the air conditioner is electrically earthed.In order to avoid electric shock, make sure that the unit isgrounded and that the earth wire is not connected to gasor water pipe, lightning conductor or telephone earth wire.Arrange the drain hose to ensure smooth drainage.Incomplete drainage may cause wetting of thebuilding, furniture etc.Do not let children play on and around the outdoorunit.If they touch the unit carelessly, it may result in injury.Do not place the controller exposed to direct sunlight.The LCD display may get discolored, failing to display thedata.Do not wipe the controller operation panel withbenzine, thinner, chemical dustcloth, etc.The panel may get discolored or the coating peeled off. If itis heavily dirty, soak a cloth in water-diluted neutraldetergent, squeeze it well and wipe the panel clean. Andwipe it with another dry cloth.CAUTIONNever touch the internal parts of the controller.Do not remove the front panel.
