For Your Safety11Before You StartThis appliance is supplied with a moulded three pinmains plug for your safety and convenience.A 5 amp. fuse is fitted in this plug. Should the fuse needto be replaced please ensure that the replacement fusehas a rating of 5 amps. and that it is approved by ASTAor BSI to BS1362. Check for the ASTA mark or theBSI mark on the body of the fuse. If the plugcontains a removable fuse cover, you must ensure thatit is refitted when the fuse is replaced. If you lose thefuse cover the plug must not be used until areplacement cover is obtained. A replacement fusecover can be purchased from your local PanasonicDealer.IF THE FITTED MOULDED PLUG IS UNSUITABLEFOR THE SOCKET OUTLET IN YOUR PREMISES,THEN THE FUSE SHOULD BE REMOVED AND THEPLUG CUT OFF AND DISPOSED OF SAFELY.THERE IS A DANGER OF SEVERE ELECTRICALSHOCK IF THE CUT OFF PLUG IS INSERTED INTOANY 13 AMP. SOCKET.If a new plug is to be fitted please observe the wiringcode as shown below.
