4 Clearance between the roof surface andmodule frame is required to allow coolingair to circulate around the back of themodule. This also allows any condensationor moisture to dissipate. The requiredclearance between the roof surface and themodule is more than 4 inch. Panasonic recommends the installationmethod and mounting profile shown inFigure 1 A module should be attached on a mountor support structure rail by corrosive-resistant metal clamps. The clamps should be made of aluminumalloy or other material that will reasonablyprotect against a risk of electrolyticcorrosion.
