Refer to the network disk recorder's SetupInstructions (PDF file) for more information.• HDD capacity• HDD remaining capacity• Hour meter• Disk operation mode• Date range of video recorded on the HDDNote:• You cannot remove individual HDDs by opening the front panelwhile operating in RAID5 or RAID6 mode.• Refer to page 30 when replacing malfunctioning HDDs witherrors.Set the HDD operational mode.The initial setting is [SINGLE mode].This setting is not necessary to use the single mode as it is set up.1 Turn off the power switch of the network disk recorderand extension unit.Turn off the power according to "Turning Off the Power(page 18)".2 Turn on the power for the extension unit (this unit).The following operation is done on the networkdisk recorder3 Insert the key (included) into the key hole and turn itwhile pressing in gently to open the front cover of thenetwork disk recorder.4 Set the operational mode with the [RAID] switch.5 Hold down the [USE] button and turn on the power toboot up.• The settings are enabled at startup.
