Product Overview6Stop operation immediately if your machineemits smoke, excessive heat, unusual noise,or abnormal smell, or if water is spilt onto themachine. These conditions can cause fire.Immediately switch Off and unplug the machine,and contact the authorized Panasonic dealer.Do not disconnect or reconnect the machinewhile the power switch is in the On position.Disconnecting a live connector can causearcing, consequently deforming the plug andcause fire.When the machine is not used over an extendedperiod of time, switch it Off and unplug it. If anunused machine is left connected to a powersource for a long period, degraded insulationcan cause electric shocks, current leakage orfire.Be sure to switch Off and unplug the machinebefore accessing the interior of the machine forcleaning, maintenance or fault clearance.Access to a live machine s interior can causeelectric shock.Once a month, unplug the machine and checkthe power cord for the following.
