11Chapter 2 Scan/Email Operations6 Insert the SD Memory Card.Push the Slot Cover to open it.Insert the SD Memory Card as illustrated.(Label side up)7 Select “SD Card”.z Only one storage device can be selected ata time. When the “SD Card” is selected asthe storage device, the scanned imagecannot be saved to the PCMCIA/PC Cardand Hard Disk Drive at the same time.z If the setting of Function Parameter “84 SD/PC Card Function” (General Settings > KeyOperator Mode) is set to “No”, theConfirmation screen displays the “Functionnot available” error message and beeps.z If you do not touch any key for 3 seconds, orselect “Close” on the Touch Panel Display,the machine will display the previous screen.For more details, refer to General Settingsin the Operating Instructions (For FunctionParameters) of provided CD-ROM.8 Press the Start key.z The scanned image is saved in the followingdirectory of the SD Memory Card.Directory: \PRIVATE\MEIGROUP\PCC\DI\IMAGEz The data saved on the SD Memory Card canbe printed by this machine or another DP-C322*, DP-C262*, DP-C354*, DP-C264*,DP-C323*, DP-C263*, DP-C213*, DP-C405,DP-C305, and DP-C265. Whenprinting PDF or high-compression PDF data,install and set up the Memory Card PrintUtility. For details, refer to the Help section ofthe Memory Card Print Utility on theDocument Management System CD-ROM.* Requires optional Printer ControllerModule for printing PDF data.9 Push the SD Memory Card, and thenremove it.z Do not remove the SD Memory Card whilethe Access Indicator is flashing.10 Close the Slot Cover.z When cancelling the operation, press the Stop keyon the Control Panel, and then select “Yes” on theTouch Panel Display.
