Available test patterns are:• 32767 – A pseudo-random bit sequence (PRBS)that is 32,767 bits long. This is a PRBS 215 –1 test.• 1-in-8 – A test pattern consisting of a one (1)followed by seven zeros.Sending Test PatternsUse the Send command to start transmission of a testpattern.To send a test pattern,1. From the Patterns screen, select Mon.F1Patterns:Abort Send MonF2 F3The Monitor screen appears with the error count.If the maximum of 99999 is exceeded, OvrFlwappears instead of the count. If the receiver losessynchronization while the monitor is active, NoSync appears.
