The electropneumatic switch cabinet in particular must be openedand serviced by an instructed trained electrician only.Connection to power supplyThe dryer components have been connected in the switch cabinet at the factory. You onlyneed connect it to the electric supply.Make sure the cross section of the electric cable matches the dryer’s power consumptionand the voltage available at the customer’s.Insert power cable through the left recessat the base of the switch cabinet (see figure).Connect wires according to the circuitdiagram to terminals L1–L3 at the terminalstrip (the circuit diagram is attached inside theswitch cabinet).Connect the dryer‘s earth cable to the PEterminal.Protect the dryer against short circuits byinstalling fuses to all phases.Cable recess in switch cabinet base andterminal connections for power supplyConnection of dryer to the fault signalling systemThere is an ex-works option to connect the dryer to a fault signalling system. With such asystem, faults occurring anywhere in the dryer unit can be displayed at one location, e.g. at acontrol station.Connect the cables of the fault signalling system to the terminal strip as show in thecircuit diagram .External interfacesThe dryer controller features interfaces for data transmission. Please heed the controller manual for more information on these interfaces.Check bolt connectionsBefore the initial start-up:Check all unions and bolt connections as well as the terminals in the control cabinet forsecure seating; re-tighten if necessary.
