TroubleshootingDIAGNOSTICS LEDsThe MySpot 500 has 2 LEDsin the front panel, visiblethrough a clear hole in the yel-low “reserved” label. The loca-tion is immediately to the left ofthe “S”. One LED is green andthe other is red.BARRIER IS DOWN, Doesnot rise on commandpress the center button on theremote and observe the LEDs.If the red LED flashes in re-sponse to the command, itmeans that the remote is notpaired with the barrier. One cause can be a mix-up between remotespaired for different barriers Another cause can be theintroduction of a new re-mote that was not previ-ously paired. A 3rd possibility is that thebarrier unit was rebootedand thus lost it pairing his-tory. See page 5 for pairing pro-cedures.If the green LED flashes in re-sponse to the command, itmeans that the radio link is OKand the cause of the problemcould be one of the list below: The barrier is mechanicallyprevented from rising (RedLED will flash during move-ment) The position sensor informa-tion inside the barrier unitgot corrupted. Reset thepower to the unit (see page15), then send a couple ofcommands to exercise thebarrier up and down.If neither LEDs flashes, a likelycause for no response is that thebarrier batteries are run down orthat they “jumped” out of theholder during shipping.
