33Problem Possible cause SolutionThe shaver doesnot shave as wellas it used to.The shaving headsare damaged orworn.Replace the shaving heads(see chapter ‘Replacement’).Hairs or dirtobstruct theshaving heads.Clean the shaving heads byfollowing the steps of thethorough cleaning method(see chapter ‘Cleaning andmaintenance’).The shaver doesnot work when Ipress the on/offbutton.The shaver is stillattached to themains. For safetyreasons, the shavercan only be usedwithout cord.Disconnect the shaver fromthe mains and press the on/offbutton to switch on the shaver(see section ‘Unplug for usereminder’).The rechargeablebattery is empty.Recharge the battery (seechapter ‘Charging’).The travel lockis activated.Press the on/off button for3 seconds to deactivate thetravel lock.The shaving unit issoiled or damagedto such an extentthat the motorcannot run.Clean the shaving heads orreplace them (see chapters‘Cleaning and maintenance’and ‘Replacement’).Water is leakingfrom the bottomof the shaver.During cleaning,water may collectbetween the innerbody and theouter shell of theshaver.This is normal and notdangerous because allelectronics are enclosed in asealed power unit inside theshaver.ENGLISH |
