Alarm Sleep4 Press ALM 1/ALM 2 to confirm the setting.➜ AL1/AL2 icon and the minute digits flash.5 Hold down or press TUNING +/- repeatedlyto adjust the minutes.6 Press ALM 1/ALM 2 to confirm the setting.Helpful hints:– In standby mode, press DATE to displaymonth and day information. In radio mode,to display alarm time, press ALM 1/ALM 2.– The currently displayed alarm time is the timefor the bracketed (selected) AL1 or AL2(See 4).Selecting alarm mode (activating)1 Press RADIO ON/OFF to switch to standby.2 Select your choice of alarm mode: eitherradio, or buzzer by using the RADIO•BUZslider.3 Press ALM 1/ALM 2 once or more todisplay .➜ When alarm is activated, is displayed.(See 4).• At the set alarm time, radio or buzzer willswitch on automatically.Switching off the alarmThere are three ways of switching off thealarm. Unless you choose to cancel the alarmcompletely, the DAILY ALARM RESET optionwill be automatically kept activated from thetime your alarm first goes off.call at the same time for the following day:Daily alarm resetIf you want the alarm to be stoppedimmediately but also wish to repeat the alarm1 During the alarm call, press onceSLEEP/ALARM RESET or RADIOON/OFF.Repeat alarmThis will repeat your alarm call at 9-minuteintervals.1 During the alarm call, pressREPEAT ALARM/BRIGHTNESSCONTROL.Switching off the alarm completelyPress once or more correspondingALM 1 or ALM 2 until disappears.SleepThe clock radio has a built-in sleep timer,which enables the set to be automaticallyswitched off during radio playback after a setperiod of time.Setting the sleep time1 During radio playback, set your timer bypressing repeatedly SLEEP until the desiredtimer option appears.➜ Selections are follows (time in minute)10=20=30=60=90=120=OFF=102 The set will turn off automatically at theselected time.3 To cancel the timer function, eitherpress SLEEP once or more until “OFF”appears, or press RADIO ON/OFF toswitch to standby.➜ “SLEEP” disappears when sleep function iscancelled.Note:– The sleep function does not affect youralarm time setting(s).Illumination brightnessPress REPEAT ALARM / brightness con-trol once or more.• The brightness of the display can be adjusted:High ➟ Low ➟ Off ➟ High .Low battery indicationWhen the batteries of the unit are runninglow, the low battery icon will be displayed,indicating that the batteries should bereplaced soon.
