12 BDL6531E LCDOn-Screen DisplayCONFIGURATION 1 MENUCONFIGURATIONAUTO ADJUSTNote: for the VGA input only.Use this function to let the monitor automatically optimize the display ofVGA input image.Press the SET button to adjust.POWER SAVESet the monitor to reduce the power automatically.Press the SET/PLUS button to open the submenu, and then press theUP/DOWN button to toggle between• RGB - select ON to let the monitor enter DPMS mode when no signalcan be detected from the HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA inputs three times in arow. Use the PLUS/MINUS button to make selection.• VIDEO - select ON to let the monitor enter power saving mode when nosignal is detected from the VIDEO, S-VIDEO, and COMPONENT inputsthree times in a row. Use the PLUS/MINUS button to make selection.LANGUAGESelect the language for the OSD menu.Use the PLUS/MINUS button to select a language.PANEL SAVINGChoose to enable the panel saving functions to reduce the risk of the"image persistence”. Press the SET/ PLUS button to open the submenu,and then press the UP/DOWN button to toggle between• COOLING FAN - Set the working pattern of the display’s internalcooling fan. Select AUTO and the cooling fan will only be activated whenthe display reaches a certain temperature. Select ON and the cooling fanwill work constantly when the display power is on. Use the PLUS/MINUSbutton to make selection.• BRIGHTNESS - Select ON and the brightness of the image will bereduced to an appropriate level according to the ambient surroundings,and the BRIGHTNESS setting in the PICTURE menu will becomeunavailable. Use the PLUS/MINUS button to make selection.• PIXEL SHIFT - Select the time interval for the display to slightly expandthe image size and shift the position of pixels in four directions (up, down,left, and right). Use the PLUS/MINUS button to make selection (OFF-900seconds from current time). This helps to alleviate the issues of ghostimaging.COLOR SYSTEMSelect the color system depending on the input video format. Use thePLUS/MINUS button to toggle between• AUTO • PAL 4.43• PAL 3.58 • SECAM• NTSC 4.43 • NTSC 3.58CONFIGURATION RESETReset all settings in the CONFIGURATION 1 menu.Press the SET/PLUS button to open the submenu, and then press theUP/DOWN button to make selection. Select YES and press the SETbutton to restore settings to factory preset values. Press the EXIT buttonto cancel and then return to the previous menu.FACTORY RESETReset all settings in the PICTURE, SCREEN, AUDIO, PIP,CONFIGURATION 1, CONFIGURATION 2, and ADVANCED OPTIONmenus. Press the SET/PLUS button to open the submenu, and thenpress the UP/DOWN button to make selection. Select YES and press theSET button to restore settings to factory preset values. Press the EXITbutton to cancel and return to the previous menu.CONFIGURATION 2 MENUOSD TURN OFFSet the period of time the OSD menu stays on the screen. (from 5 to 120seconds)Use the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust.OSD MODESelect the orientation of the OSD according to the orientation the monitoris installed.Use the PLUS/MINUS button to toggle between• PORTRAIT • LANDSCAPEINFORMATION OSDSet the period of time the information OSD stays on the screen. Theinformation OSD will display when input signal is changed.Use the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust. The information OSD will notappear when OFF is selected. If 0 is selected, the information OSD willremain on the screen.SLEEP TIMERSet the monitor to turn itself off within an amount of time you specify.(OFF-24 hours from the current time)Use the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust.Note: when the SLEEP TIMER is activated, the SCHEDULE settings willbe disabled.OSD H POSITIONAdjust the horizontal position of the OSD menu.Use the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust.OSD V POSITIONAdjust the vertical position of the OSD menu.Use the PLUS/MINUS button to adjust.MONITOR INFORMATIONDisplays the information about your monitor, including model name, serialnumber, operating hours and software version.Press the SET button to view the information. Press the EXIT button toreturn to the previous menu.
