NORSKViktig◗ Bruk aldri apparatet hvis nettpluggen, nettledningen eller apparatet erødelagt.Termoskanne◗ Ta ikke fra hverandre termoskannen.◗ Termoskannen må ikke senkes ned i vann eller andre væsker (fig. 17).◗ Når kannen er fylt med kaffe, må den stå rett opp og ned for å unngå atdet lekker fra den (fig. 18).◗ Under trakting vil nedre del av apparatet og bunnen av termoskannen blivarme.◗ Tips: Hvis De forvarmer kannen med varmt vann, holder kaffen seg varmlenger etter traktingen. Husk også at kaffen holder seg varm lenger hvisDe trakter en full kanne enn hvis De trakter en mindre mengde.Dersom kaffetrakteren begynner å trakte saktere eller slår seg av førvanntanken er tom, må De avkalke apparatet. Hindre barn i å trekke inettledningen.Skylle apparatet innvendig1 Apparatet koples til en jordet kontakt.2 Overskytende ledning kan oppbevares bak i apparatet (fig. 1).La ikke nettledningen komme i kontakt med varme flater.3 Fyll vannbeholderen med vann, og sett kannen på plass (fig. 2).TermoskanneNår De betjener apparatet uten kaffe i filteret, må De ikke fyllevannbeholderen med mer vann enn opp til 9-koppersmerket, ellers vilkannen renne over.4 Slå på apparatet ved å trykke på av/på-knappen (fig. 3).Varsellampen slås på.La apparatet gå til vannbeholderen er helt tom.Slå av apparatet etter bruk (fig. 4).Rengjør de utskiftbare delene som beskrevet under "Rengjøring".Trakting av kaffeActive Balance SystemMed Active Balance System blir det enklere å oppnå riktig balanse mellommalt kaffe og vann.Før De bruker Active Balance System, bør De være oppmerksom påfølgende:StyrkevelgerGjelder typenummer HD7622, HD7624, HD7626, HD7634, HD7636.1 Still inn kaffestyrken ved hjelp av styrkevelgeren (b).Vri knappen mot venstre dersom De er vant til mild kaffe.Vri knappen mothøyre dersom De foretrekker sterk kaffe (Fig. 5).Pass på at filterholderen er satt på plass når De velger kaffestyrke.Tilbakestillingsfunksjon2 Sett systemet i balanse ved hjelp av 'OK'-knappen (c).Indikatoren på Active Balance System (d) kan settes i 'OK'-posisjon ved å vri'OK'-knappen mot venstre eller mot høyre (Fig. 6).Når De skal sette systemet i balanse, sørge for at:- filterholderen er på plass;- apparatet ikke er fyllt med vann og/eller kaffe.3 Først fylle vanntanken med vann, indikatoren på Active Balance Systembeveger seg oppover (Fig 7).- Nivåindikasjonene viser til kopper på 120 ml.- Nivåindikasjonene på kannen viser til en mengde med vann som er 10 %større enn total mengde kaffe etter trakting. Denne ekstra mengden på10 % er nødvendig for å kompensere for fordamping.4 Legg et papirfilter (type 1x4 eller nr. 4) i filterholderen (fig. 8).Glem ikke å brette kantene på filteret for å unngå rifter og sammenkrølling.Enkelte modeller leveres med et permanent filter.Ved bruk av disse er detikke nødvendig å bruke papirfiltre.5 Fyll så filterholderen med kaffe (filtermalt) inntil indikatoren på ActiveBalance System har nådd 'OK'-posisjonen (Fig. 9).6 Lukk lokket (fig. 10).Apparatet slås på og av1 Slå på apparatet ved å trykke på av/på-knappen (fig. 3).2 Slå av apparatet etter bruk (fig. 4).- Gjelder HD7624 og HD7626: Hvis De ikke slår av apparatet, vil detautomatisk slå seg av etter 2 timer ("Auto Switch-off").- Gjelder bare HD7634 og HD7636: Etter traktingen vil apparatet slå segav automatisk ("Auto Switch-off").3 Ta ut papirfilteret, og kast det (fig. 11-12).Hvis De har brukt et permanent filter, tømmer De det og skyller det, og detvil da være klart til bruk igjen.La apparatet avkjøles i minst 3 minutter før du begynner å trakte kaffe igjen.Rengjøring1 Trekk ut støpslet fra stikkontakten.2 Apparatet kan rengjøres med en fuktig klut.Dypp aldri apparatet i vann.3 Glasskannen og filterholderen rengjøres i varmt såpevann eller ioppvaskmaskin.Termoskannen må ikke vaskes i oppvaskmaskin.Termoskannen (fig. 13-14)Rengjør termoskannen innvendig med en myk børste, varmt vann og littvaskemiddel.Etter rengjøringen skylles termoskannen med friskt varmt vann (kannen måikke vaskes i oppvaskmaskinen).Tips: Gjenstridige brune avleiringer kan fjernes ved å fylle kannen med varmtvann tilsatt en skje med soda og la løsningen virke en stund.Tøm deretter kannen, og fjern avleiringene ved hjelp av en myk børste.Åpne, lukke eller ta av lokket på termoskannenLokket åpnes til hellestilling ved å dreie det en halv omdreining mot klokken(fig. 15).Lokket lukkes ved å dreie det med klokken. Kannen er isolert, og hvis den erordentlig lukket, vil den holde kaffen varm og velsmakende lenge (fig. 16).Lokket tas av ved å dreie det mot klokken til det løsner.AvkalkingRegelmessig avkalking vil forlenge apparatets levetid og garantere optimaletraktingsresultater.Ved vanlig bruk (to fulle kanner kaffe per dag) bør kaffetrakteren avkalkes isamsvar med følgende:- én gang hver annen måned hvis vannet er hardt (over 18 DH);- én gang hver fjerde måned hvis vannet er mykt (opptil 18 DH).Stedets vannverk vil kunne fortelle hvor hardt vannet er hos Dem.1 Fyll vannbeholderen med klar eddik. Please note that the coffee stays hot longer if you preparea full jug than if you prepare a smaller amount.If the coffee maker has a longer brewing time or switches off before thewater tank is empty, you should descale the appliance (see 'Descaling)'.Before first use1 Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to themains voltage in your home before you connect the appliance.2 Put the appliance on a cool, flat and stable surface.Do not put the appliance on a hot surface.3 Remove the red transportation clip (a) before you start using theappliance.Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and make surethat they are unable to pull at the cord.Flushing the appliance1 Put the plug in an earthed wall socket.2 You can store excess cord at the back of the appliance (fig. 1).Prevent the cord from coming into contact with hot surfaces.3 Fill the water tank with water and put the jug in place (fig. 2).Thermos jug:When you operate the appliance without ground coffee in the filter, do notfill the water tank beyond the 9-cup mark, otherwise the jug will overflow.4 Switch the appliance on by pressing the on/off button (fig. 3).The pilot light goes on.Let the appliance run until the water tank is completely empty.5 Switch the appliance off after use (fig. 4).Clean the removable parts as described in the section 'Cleaning'.Brewing coffeeActive Balance SystemThe Active Balance System helps you determine the right balance betweenground coffee and water.Before using the Active Balance System, please note the following:Strength selectorTypes HD7622, HD7624, HD7626, HD7634, HD7636.1 Set the strength of your coffee by means of the strength selector knob(b).If you prefer mild coffee, turn the knob to the left. If you prefer strong coffee,turn the knob to the right (fig. 5).Make sure the filter holder is in place when selecting the strength of yourcoffee.Reset function2 Put the system in balance by means of the 'OK' knob (c).The indicator of the Active Balance System (d) can be put in 'OK' position byturning the 'OK' knob to the left or to the right (fig. 6).When putting the system in balance, make sure that:- the filter holder is in place;- the appliance does not contain any water and/or ground coffee.3 First fill the water tank with water.The indicator of the Active BalanceSystem goes up (fig 7).- The level indications apply to cups with a content of 120 ml.- The level indications on the jug apply to an amount of water that is 10%more than the total amount of coffee after brewing.This extra 10% isneeded to compensate for evaporation.4 Put a paper filter (type 1x4 or no.4) in the filter holder (fig. 8).Do not forget to fold the sealed edges of the filter in order to prevent tearingand folding. Some versions come with a permanent filter. In this case you donot need to use a paper filter.5 Then fill the filter holder with coffee (filter-fine grind) until theindicator of the Active Balance System has reached the 'OK' position(fig. 9) and switch the appliance on.6 Close the lid (fig. 10).Switching the appliance on or off1 Switch the appliance on by pressing the on/off button (fig. 3).2 Switch the appliance off after use (fig. 4).- Types HD7624, HD7626: If you have not switched the appliance off, theappliance will automatically switch itself off after two hours (auto switch-off).- Types HD7634, HD7636:The appliance will switch itself off automatically(auto switch-off) after brewing coffee.3 Remove the paper filter and throw it away (fig. 11-12).If you have used a permanent filter, you can simply empty it, rinse it and use itagain.Let the appliance cool down for at least 3 minutes before you start brewingcoffee again.Cleaning1 Unplug the appliance.2 Clean the appliance with a moist cloth.Never immerse the appliance in water.3 Clean the glass jug and the filter holder in hot water with somewashing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.The thermos jug cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.Thermos jug (Fig. 13-14):Clean the inside of the thermos jug with a soft brush, hot water and somewashing-up liquid.The thermos jug is not dishwasher-proof.After cleaning, rinse the thermos jug with fresh hot water.Tip:To remove stubborn brown deposits, fill the jug with hot water and add aspoonful of soda. Leave the soda to do its work for some time.Then empty the jug and remove the deposits with a soft brush.Opening, closing or removing the lid of the thermos jug:Open the lid to pouring position by turning it anti-clockwise half a turn (fig. 15).Close the lid by turning it clockwise. If properly closed, the insulated jug willkeep the coffee hot and tasty for a long time (fig. 16).Remove the lid by turning it anti-clockwise until it comes off.DescalingRegular descaling will prolong the life of your appliance and will guaranteeoptimal brewing results.In case of normal use (two full jugs of coffee every day), descale your coffeemaker:- once every 2 months if you are using hard water (over 18 DH);- once every 4 months if you are using soft water (up to 18 DH).Turn to your local water board for information about the water hardness inyour area.1 Fill the water tank with white vinegar.
