714 532INTENZA WATER FILTERTo improve the quality of the water you use and extend the life of your machine at the same time, it is recommended that you install thewater fi lter. After installation, go to the water fi lter initialization programme (see the "MACHINE MENU", page 25). In this way, the machineinforms the user when the water fi lter must be replaced.Remove the water fi lter from its packaging, immerse it vertically (with the opening positioned upwards) in cold water andgently press its sides to let the air bubbles out.Remove the small white fi lter from thetank and store it in a dry place shelteredfrom dust.Fill the tank with fresh drinking waterand re-insert it into the machine.Place a container beneath the hot water/steam wand.Insert the filter in the empty tank. Thereference mark and the groove mustmatch. Push firmly until it is completelyinserted.Set up the Intenza Aroma System:A = Soft waterB = Medium water (standard)C = Hard waterPress the "OK" button. Press the "OK" button to confi rm theintroduction of the new water fi lter.Press the "OK" button to confi rm. Waituntil the cycle is completed and removethe container.Access the "MACHINE MENU" (seepage 25).
