8 ENSetting the timerWith the timer, you can let the applianceoperate for a set number of hours. Whenthe set time has elapsed, the appliance willautomatically switch off.1 Touch the timer button repeatedly tochoose the number of hours you want theappliance to operate (fig. x).» The timer is available from 1 to 8 hours.To deactivate the timer function, touch thetimer button repeatedly until displayson the screen (fig. y).Setting the child lock1 Touch and hold the child lock buttonfor 3 seconds to activate child lock (fig. z& {).» When the child lock is on, all the otherbuttons are not responsive.2 Touch and hold the child lock buttonfor 3 seconds again to deactivate child lock.Water levelThe water level in the water tank is visiblethrough the water level window on the watertank.When there is not enough water in the watertank, the water refill light flashes to indicatethat you have to refill the water tank (fig. |).Note• When there is no water in the water tank,the wick wheel will stop rotating. In the automode, the appliance will operate under fanspeed 1. In the manual fan speed mode, theappliance will continue to operate under thechosen fan speed. When the water tank isrefilled with water, the wick wheel will startrotating again.5 CleaningNote• Always unplug the appliance beforecleaning.• Never immerse the appliance in water orany other liquid.• Never use abrasive, aggressive, orflammable cleaning agents such as bleachor alcohol to clean any part of theappliance.• Only the pre-filter and NanoCloud rotaryhumidification wick are washable.
