The 10 screws on each set of scissors will already beloose when shipped.2. Expand scissors to desired height. Tighten screws tohold in place using Phillips head screw driver. Figures15.1 and 15.2.. Measure trim to required height to cover scissors andmark piece for cutting. Cut excess material from top oftrim’s edge, not bottom. This edge will be sharp; weargloves to prevent injury to your hands. Figure 15.2.4. Using sheet metal shears, cut trim along the markededge. The cut edge fits under lip of top, so it allows forsome variance in your straight edge.5. The double-sided tape that holds the scissors has a par-ticularly powerful bonding adhesive. Adjustments areextremely difficult once trim has adhered to tape. Do adry run first without removing paper from tape.6. Place cut edge of trim under top lip and into position onscissors. Install the 2 side pieces first. The front piececorners will overlap the side pieces. NOTE: The trim inthe Flush Mount Kit is one piece.7. Once you are satisfied with the positioning, remove trimand set aside.8. Remove the paper from double-sided tape that is toaccept trim side. Align side and then press hard againsttape to secure side piece.9. There are holes in the back flange of the top to secureit to the wall if necessary.
