Remove all ash from the firebox, and extinguish all hotembers before disposal into a metal container.2. It is easier to remove both baffle boards and ceramicblanket after the tube channel assembly has been partiallydisassembled and the right side lowered. It is not necessaryto completely remove the tube channel assembly.3. Once the baffle protection cover has been removed, pullthe baffle boards and ceramic blanket forward about 1 inch(25mm) and then overlap the baffles about 1-2 inches (25-51mm). Figure 9.24. Slide the tube channel assembly to the left as far as it willgo and lower the right side. Remove the baffle boards andceramic blanket together. Figure 9.34. Re-install in reverse order. Be sure the baffle boards andceramic blanket are in their proper positions.E. Door Handle Assembly1. Install washer on door handle shaft.2. Slide door handle through door.3. Install additional washer(s) as shown in Figure 9.1.4. Install key in groove.5. Align groove in latch cam with key; slide latch cam overshaft6. Install locknut but do not overtighten, the handle needsto move smoothly.7. Install handle turning in a counter-clockwise motion todesired location on door handle rod. Figure 9.1CAUTION!
