Ensure the settingmatches the switch setting on the receiver.Carefully tuck the connected wiresinside the junction box. Secure thetransmitter with the two screws provided.Attach the face plate over the transmitterwith the two screws provided.4. The wall control and receiver unit has16 different code combinations.Your fan will not operate if the switchsettings do not match.If you have another remote operated fan inyour home, make sure its combination ofswitch settings are different from those ofyour new fan.Use the wire nuts supplied with your fanwhen making connections. Secure theconnectors with electrical tape and makesure there are no loose connections or wirestrands.1. Find the DIP switches located on theside of the receiver unit. Set the switchesat random to set the frequency at which theunit will operate. At least one of the fourswitches must be in the "ON" position.2. Connect the wiring from the ceiling tothe receiver unit. (Use the 2 wire bundleon the receiver.) Secure with supplied wirenuts. (Fig. 6)Connect the BLACK buildingsupply wire to the BLACK receiverwire.Connect the WHITE receiver neutralwire to the WHITE building neutral wire.Connect the COPPER buildingground wire to the GREEN fan groundwire.3. Connect the wiring from the wallswitch receptacle to wall transmitter unit.Remove the existing wall plate andswitch from the wall junction box.Connect one BLACK wire from thewall to one BLACK wire (labeled "TOFAN") from the wall transmitter.Connect the other BLACK wire(labeled "TO POWER SUPPLY")from the transmitter to the remainingBLACK wire from the wall (A/Csupply source).If your junction box has a groundwire (green or bare copper), connectthe transmitter's ground wire to it.Otherwise, connect the transmitterground wire directly to one of thescrews from the outlet box.NOTE: It may be necessary tobind the house wires to thecorresponding receiver wireswith electrical tape beforecapping them with wire nuts.This will prevent them fromslipping apart during the rest ofthe installation.
