Using Advanced FeaturesWatching Closed CaptioningClosed captioning displays the audio portion of a program as words on theTV screen: It is useful for the deaf, hearing impaired, or anyone who wantsto watch a program without Sound. If you have turned Closed Captioningon and it does not appear on the screen, it is not available on the channelyou are watching.This TV does not support the text mode. Text information typically consistsof program information, weather bulletins, local activities, etc.1. Select the Controls MenuAlarm AdPress MENU to select the Controlsmenu. This menu is yellow.2. Highlight ClosedCaptioningAlarmPress CHANNEL down to highlightClosed Captioning.3. Select SettingAlarm AdPress VOLUME + or - to selectOff, C1, or C2. Select C1 for fulltranslation of the primarylanguage in your area. Select C2for secondary languagetranslation, simplified English, orwhatever is being broadcast inyour area.13 |
