SORTThe Sort Menu lets you browse programs by category. The channel towhich you are currently tuned is displayed in the video window. To sort:1. Press MENU on the remote to highlight the Menu bar.2. Use the arrows to highlight Sort. When Sort is highlighted for thefirst time, the Movies category is displayed. Thereafter, the lastcategory used becomes the default. A listing of subcategories isdisplayed below the category name.3. Use the up and down arrows to highlight a subcategory. Forexample, highlight All and press OK.4. When the listing comes up, All Moviesare displayed. Use the upand down arrows to browse the list one at a time. Use CH ^ and CHvto browse through the list one page at a time. You can also view thenext seven days' programming by pressing the right arrow.5. Select MENU to return to the menu bar, or press GUIDE or CLEAR toexit the GUIDE Plus+ system.Sort MenuAction ButtOnsISort Menu= CategoriesSort Menu Action ButtonsWhen viewing the results of a Sort, the following Action buttons willappear on the bar:Watch Press 1 on the remote to place a timer in the Schedule, andthen follow the on-line help for further options. Placing a timer inthe Schedule will cause the TV to turn on and tune to the programhighlighted in the Channel listing at the predetermined time. Whenthe TV turns on, the GUIDE Plus+ system will automatically appearwith the scheduled program highlighted and tuned in the Viewwindow.Record Press 3 on the remote to place a timer in the Schedule forthe VCR to record the program highlighted in the Channel listing. Ifyou have a cable box, changing channels on the TV will not causethe cable box channel to change while recording.The program information window will display a confirmation when youhave successfully created a timer to watch or record. If you have selectedtwo programs to watch or record which begin at the same time oroverlap, you will receive a timer conflict message. The GUIDE Plus+system will not schedule a conflicting timer; you must choose betweenthe two programs.I e sure that during the GUIDE Plus+ setup |you specified that you have a VCR.
