Plug the other end into an outlet, inserting theplug completely. Do not plug the TV into an outlet controlled by a light switch.Put Batteries in the Remote• Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote control by pushing the tab andlifting off the cover.• Insert 2 AAA batteries, making sure the polarities (+ and -) are aligned correctly.• Replace the cover.Turn on the TVTurn on your TV by pressing the Power button (5) on the side of the TV or the ON.OFF or TV button onthe remote control.Using the Remote Control to Complete InitialSetupYou will need to use the remote control to complete the setup of your TV. The remote control allows youto navigate through and select items that appear in the on-screen menus. The process works the same onall menu screens: highlight your choice and select it.To select a menu item, press the arrows to highlight one of the items listed on the screen. Use the up ordown arrow to move up or down. Use OK button or right arrow to view other selections for a menu choiceor to display a sub-menu.
