12MR53R400From the Main Menu screen, press the MENU key until System is highlighted inred. Press the right arrow key to enter this menu. Use the up & down arrow keysto move between the various feature selections in this menu.LanguageThis feature will allow you to change the language that is used for the onscreen display. With Language highlighted in red, use the left & right arrowkeys to select which of the three languages you wish to use - English (Eng.),Spanish (Esp.), or French (Fra.)Blue BackThis feature, when activated, will display a blue background on your TV screenwhen there is no signal present. With Blue Back highlighted in red, use the leftor right arrow keys to select between On or Off.Closed CaptionsWhen the Closed Captioning system is turned on, your TV can decode anddisplay the Closed Captioning signal. Closed Captioning provides an on screendisplay of the dialogue, narration, and sound effects of a TV program. ClosedCaptions will be displayed at either the top or bottom of the screen.With the Text Mode selected, the TV will decode and display any teletext signalthat is being transmitted with the TV program. This information is usually notrelated to the program itself. Text will be displayed on a portion of the TVscreen.With Closed Captions highlighted in red, use the left & right arrow keys toselect one of the four Closed Captioning selections (CC1-4), or one of the fourText selections (T1-4).
