The componentbuttons are programmed to operate some Proscan, RCA and GE components. Thebuttons must be programmed to operate other brands of components. (See“Programming the Remote” in chapter 5.)Component Buttons(from left to right)Use these buttons to turn on the component and set the remote to control theselected component.DVD Use this button to turn on the DVD player and set the remote to controlthe DVD player.TV Use this button to turn on a compatible TV and set the remote to controlthe TV.
