Press and push the batterycompartment cover to remove it.2. Insert the batteries, matching thebatteries to the (+) and (–) marksinside the battery compartment.3. Push the battery cover back into place.Note: If you are replacing batteries, try not to press any buttons afteryou’ve taken the old batteries out. Pressing buttons while replacingbatteries causes the remote to lose the devices you’ve programmed. In order for your universal remote to control yourcomponents, you need to program the remote with the codesthat match the components (See Code Lists enclosed or go torca.com/codefinder). These codes enable the remote tocommunicate with your components.
