Programming For TVTV Code List1. Manually turn on the TV.Find the three-digit code foryour TV in the code list below.2. Press and hold the CODESEARCH button until theINDICATOR LIGHT lights, thenrelease the CODE SEARCHbutton.3. Press and release the TV button(the INDICATOR LIGHT willblink then remain lit).4. Enter the code using theNumber Buttons.After your code is entered, theINDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.5. Aim the remote at your TV andpress the ON•OFF button. YourTV should turn off.Note: If your TV does not respond, try allthe codes for your brand. If the codesdo not work, or your brand is notlisted, try the Code Search method onpage 13.6. With your TV on, pressCH+. If the TV responds,no further programming isrequired.7. On the back of the remote, push and slide thecover off.2. Match the batteries to the + and - marks inside thebattery case, then insert the batteries.3. Press and slide the battery cover back into place.Note: Reprogramming may be required after batteries are removed.INDICATOR LIGHTThe Indicator Light flashes to show that the remote is working.ON•OFFThe ON•OFF button operates the same as your original remoteNote: Some RCA, GE and ProScan models require you to pressthe device button to turn the device on and the ON•OFF buttonto turn the device off.CODE SEARCHUsed to program the remote or to search through codes.TV, VCR, CABLE, SAT•AUXThe TV, VCR, CABLE, and SAT•AUX buttons are used to selectthe device you want to control.REVERSE, PLAY, FORWARD, RECORD, STOP, PAUSEThe REVERSE, PLAY, FORWARD, RECORD, STOP, and PAUSEbuttons operate the same as on your original VCR remote. Youmust press the RECORD button twice to begin recording.TV•VCRThe TV•VCR button operates the TV•VCR function of your VCR.ENTERThe ENTER button is used to complete channel selection for somebrands of TV.
