12Programming For AudioThis remote control will operate many features found in audio/videoreceivers and mini-systems. The remote control is already programmedto operate most RCA and ProScan brand A/V receivers. Other brandsof receivers and mini-systems need to be set up under the AUDIObutton prior to using the device. See page 13 for the list of AUDIOcodes.1. Manually turn on the device you wishto control.Find the three digit code for yourAUDIO system in the code list on thenext page.2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCHbutton until the INDICATOR LIGHTlights, then release the CODESEARCH button.3. Press and release the AUDIO button(The INDICATOR LIGHT will blinkthen remain lit).4. Enter the code using the NumberButtons.After your code is entered, theINDICATOR LIGHT will turn off. Ifthe code is not valid, the INDICATORLIGHT will blink. Check the code listand repeat process.5. Aim the remote at the device you wishto control and press the ON•OFF button.The device should turn off.Note: If your device does not respond, try allthe codes for your brand. If the codes do notwork, or your brand is not listed, try the CodeSearch method on page 16.6. With your device on, press VOL+(VOLUME UP). If it responds, nofurther programming is required.7.
