7 8Programming For DBS1. Manually turn on the DBS.Find the three-digit code foryour DBS in the code list below.2. Press and hold the CODESEARCH button until theINDICATOR LIGHT lights, thenrelease the CODE SEARCHbutton.3. Press and release theDBS•CABLE button (TheINDICATOR LIGHT will blinkthen remain lit).4. Enter the code using theNumber Buttons.After your code is entered, theINDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.5. Aim the remote at your DBS andpress the ON•OFF button. YourDBS should turn off.Note: If your DBS does notrespond, try all the codes foryour brand. If the codes do notwork, or your brand is notlisted, try the Code Searchmethod on page 10.6. With your DBS on, press CH+. Ifthe DBS responds, no furtherprogramming is required.7. Enter your code herefor easy reference.
