Don't worry if you set the game down, whenthe game goes to sleep - the light will also automat-ically turn off.GETTING STARTEDPress ON•DEAL•DRAW to turn on the game (it willgo to sleep after sitting idle for two (2) minutes), todeal out the cards for a new game and to drawcards. If you want to use the timer, press theTIMER button before you begin the game.GAME MODESThere are two game modes to choose from:Klondike Solitaire and Vegas Solitaire. Press theNEW GAME/GAME button to select the gamemode.KLONDIKE SOLITAIREIn Klondike Solitaire, cards are dealt to the deck 3-at-a-time and the player can pass through the deckindefinitely. Twenty (20) points are deducted foreach pass through the deck after the player hasgone through the deck three (3) times. The objectof Klondike Solitaire is to use all the cards in thedeck to build four suit stacks in order from Ace, 2,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen and King.Card StacksYou will be dealt twenty-eight cards in seven rowstacks. You will build each row stack card face up,in alternating colors, in the order of King, Queen,Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. As the game pro-gresses, you will move these cards to the suitstacks.DeckWhen you cannot move any cards in the row stack,you can draw a new card from the deck.• To draw a card from the deck, press the DECKbutton until the card flashes. Press the CARDSTACK button corresponding to the location youwant to move the card or the SUITS button . Thenumber of passes through the deck is unlimited.Suit StacksAt the beginning of the game, they are empty. Whenyou draw an Ace, press the CARD STACK buttoncorresponding with the location of the Ace until thecard is flashing. Then, press the SUITS button tomove it to its proper suit stack.Timer/BonusThe number of bonus points you will receivedepends upon how quickly you win the game.[Note: Timer can only be turned on/off at the startof a game, prior to your first card move.]UndoYou’ll lose 2 points from your score each time youundo your last move. You will also lose any pointsawarded for the original move.Basic Rules of Klondike Solitaire• Row stacks must be built in descending order ofKing, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2.• Suit stacks must be built in ascending order ofAce, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen andKing.• You must play cards in alternating colors in rowstacks. For example, you can play a red card(Outlined) on a black card (Solid), or a black card(Solid) on a red card (Outlined).• A card at the top of a card stack can be moved toits corresponding suit stack, as long as the cardyou are moving is the next the card in thesequence. For example, you can move a 3 ofhearts from a card stack or the deck and place iton top of a 2 of hearts in a suit stack.• A sequence of cards can be moved, as a unit, andplaced on top of another card.
