You must remove it beforeusing the radio.1. Use a coin to turn and remove the batterycompartment cover from the back of theradio.2. Remove the insulation strip from betweenthe batteries, and then replace the cover.Using the Radio1. Turn on/off on the back of the radio to on.2. Press RESET to ensure the radio starts from the lowest frequency(FM 88MHz).3. Repeatedly press SCAN to select your desired station. When no stationsare clearly tuned, the radio may scan to the highest frequency (FM 108MHz). Press RESET to re-start from the lowest frequency.4. Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level.5. Turn on/off to off to turn off the radio.Listening SafelyTo protect your hearing, follow these guidelineswhen you use earbuds.• Set the volume to the lowest setting beforeyou begin listening. After you beginlistening, adjust the volume to acomfortable level.• Do not listen at extremely high volumelevels. Extended high-volume listening canlead to permanent hearing loss.• Once you set the volume, do not increaseit. Over time, your ears adapt to the volumelevel, so a volume level that does not causediscomfort might still damage your hearing.Traffic Safety• Do not wear earbuds while operating amotor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This cancreate a traffic hazard and could be illegalin some areas.• Even though some earbuds let you hearsome outside sounds when listening atnormal volume levels, they still can presenta traffic hazard.Step OneStep Three• Radio with attached mono earbuds• Two button-cell batteries• Attached belt clip• Two attached beadsStep TwoUsing the Belt ClipYou can clip the radio on your belt using theattached belt clip on the back of the radio foreasy carrying.Using the BeadsAdjust the two beads on the earbud cables towear the radio like a necklace. Position the firstbead as close as possible to the radio so theearbud cables are not damaged. Position thesecond bead as you like to make the loop sizeas desired.Volume Control
