8Storing Preset StationsYou can store 10 FM, 10 AM, and 5 Weather (WX) stations.1. Press AM/FM/WX repeatedly to select a radio band.2. Tune your desired station.3. Press MEMORY to enter programming mode. MEMflashes on the display screen.4. Press a number button (1/6, 2/7, 3/8, 4/9, 5/0)to store a preset in locations 1 to 5. To store inlocations 6 to 0, press SHIFT, then a number button.5. Repeat step 2-4 to store more stations, or press anyother keys to quit programming mode.Note: WX band presets can only be stored in locations 1 to 5.Using the Sleep FunctionYou can set the radio to switch to standby modeautomatically after a set period of time.1. When the radio is on, press SLEEP repeatedly totoggle and select a sleep period ranging from 10 to90 minutes: 90, 80... 20, 10.2. After you set the timer, press SLEEP again to viewthe remaining sleep time.If you wish to cancel the sleep timer, press SLEEPrepeatedly until 00 (off ) appears.3. When the timer period is reached, the radio entersstandby mode. To resume listening, press any panelbutton (except VOL). The display and radio resumes.
