Note that thetempo display is aligned with the beginning ofthe bar, so the peaks keep their relative positionas the track plays. This display does not showthe relative timing of the beats, only the temposof the tracks. The peaks will still line up when thetracks are playing at the same tempo, but areout of sync.tRacK OVeRVIeW dISpLayThis view provides a complete overviewof the track waveform, and includesa marker to show the current positionwithin the track. This view is useful forfinding transitions within the track. Thewaveform is colored according to thesound spectrum – red representinglow frequency bass sounds, greenrepresenting mid frequency sounds andblue representing high frequency treblesounds.You can jump to different positionswithin the track by clicking on the TrackOverview display. Grey lines behind theoverview show the length of the track – a thingrey line every minute, and a thick grey line every5 minutes. The overview will be filled when youload the track onto a Virtual Deck. On slowercomputers, disable auto fill overviews in thesetup screen – with this setting disabled, theoverview will be filled as you play the track. You canalso switch to a three-bandspectrum view by holdingthe ctrl key and clicking onthe waveform. Click on thewaveform to ‘scrub’ or make fine adjustmentsto your position within the track. Remember that akick or bass drum will be red in color, and a snaredrum will be green or blue. The circularprogress bar aroundthe edge is a visualrepresentation of theposition within the song, and can be set to flashto warn you that the track is nearing its end. Thetime and remaining time are displayed in minutesand seconds. The pitched BPM (BPM with pitchadjustment multiplier added) is shown on the leftof the Virtual Deck, and the percentage pitchshift is shown on the right of the Virtual Deck.
