INSTALLATIONCheck the appliance is electrically safe when you have finished.22ArtNo.010-0004 Moving the cookerFig.7-5Fig.7-7Fig.7-6Moving the Cookernn On no account try and move the cooker while it isplugged into the electricity supply.nn The cooker is very heavy, so take great care.We recommend that two people manoeuvre the cooker.Make sure that the floor covering is firmly fixed, or removed,to prevent it being disturbed when moving the cookeraround.To help you, there are two levelling rollers at the back, andtwo screw-down levelling feet at the front.Remove the polystyrene base pack. From the front, tiltthe cooker backwards and remove the front half of thepolystyrene base (Fig.7-4). Repeat from the back and removethe rear half of the polystyrene base.Lowering the Two Rear RollersTo adjust the height of the rear of the cooker, first fit a 13 mmspanner or socket wrench onto the hexagonal adjusting nut(Fig.7-5).Rotate the nut – clockwise to raise – counter-clockwise tolower. Make 10 complete (360°) turns clockwise.Make sure you lower BOTH REAR ROLLERS.Completing the MoveUnfold the rear edge of the cardboard base tray. Open thegrill door and right-hand oven door so that you can get agood grip on the bottom of the fascia panel as you move theoven (Fig.7-6).Carefully push the cooker backwards off the base tray.Remove the base tray.Position the cooker close to its final position, leaving justenough space to get behind it (Fig.7-7).nn Do not use the door handles or control knobs tomanoeuvre the cooker.Repositioning the Cooker FollowingConnectionIf you need to move the cooker once it has been connected,make sure it is switched off at the supply switch beforegripping under the fascia panel and lifting the front of thecooker slightly (Fig.7-6). Check behind the cooker to makesure that the electricity cable is not caught.As you progress, always make sure that the cable hassufficient slack to allow the cooker to move.When you replace the cooker, check behind it again oncemore to make sure that the electricity cable is not caught ortrapped.
