Press “Hour” button repeatedly to adjust the hours. Press“Min” button repeatedlyto adjust the minutes. To scroll through the digits, press and holdthe corresponding button down.2. To set the cooking time of less than one hour, repeatedly press the “Hour” button to zerothe hour settings and set the minutes using the “Min” button.3. For your convenience, the cooking time range in all programmes starts with theminimum setting, enabling you to prolong the cooking time if the dish comes out undercooked.In “STEAM”, “SOUP”, “PILAF” programmes the countdown begins onlywhen the device reachesits operating temperature. E. g. the countdown ofthe “STEAM” programme begins only when thewater comes to a full boil, providing enough steam.Preset FunctionPreset function allows setting the programme to be finished by certain time. Setting the timeof a delay, take the cooking time of the programme into consideration. Time settings rangefrom 1 to 24 hours with 10 minute intervals.1. Press “Menu” button to select the cooking programme.2. Press “Time Delay” button to set the time of a delay. “Time Delay” indicator lights up andthe timer starts blinking.3. Use “Hour” button to set the hours in 24-hour format and “Min” button to set the minutes.To scroll through the digits press and hold the corresponding button down.4. The dish will be ready when the time set expires.Ifthe time ofa delayis less or equal to the cooking time ofthe programme,the cooking processwill begin right after you press “Start”.Preset function is available in all cooking programmes except “FRY”.It is not recommended to set Preset function if various dairy and perishable products are beingused (eggs, fresh milk, meat, cheese, etc.).Setting the Preset function remember that the countdown in “STEAM”, “SOUP” and “BOIL”programmes begins only after the device reaches its operating temperature.Keep Warm FunctionKeep Warm function is being activated automatically at the end of the cooking programme.It allows maintaining the temperature of 70-75°C for a period of time up to 24 hours. “Reheat/Cancel” button indicator lights up and Keep Warm count up is displayed. Press “Reheat/Cancel”button to disable the function (corresponding indicators go off).Disabling the Keep Warm in advanceAutomatic activation of the Keep Warm function at the end of the programme maysometimesbe undesirable.The REDMOND RMC-M4500E multicooker allows disabling the function inadvance. To do so, press “Start” button right after the programme starts running or at any pointof its operation, Keep Warm function indicator goes off. To reactivate the function, repress the“Start” button, Keep Warm function indicator lights up.Reheat FunctionThe REDMOND RMC-M4500E multicooker may be used to reheat the cold meal.1. Fill the bowl with ingredients and place it inside the device.2. Close the lid until it clicks into place and plug in the unit.3. Press “Reheat/Cancel”. Button indicator lights up and the Reheat function countdown isbeing displayed.4. The meal will be warmed up to 70-75°C and the temperature will be maintained for thenext 24 hours.5. Tocancel the functionpress “Reheat/Cancel” (button indicatorgoesoff).The function may operate for a period of 24 hours, however, we recommend using it moderately,because a prolonged thermal exposure may affect flavor characteristics or dry out the meal.Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programmes1. Measure the ingredients according to the recipe and put them into the bowl. Make surethat all the ingredients including liquid are below the scale mark indicating maximumcapacity.2. Place the bowl inside the device. The bowl and the heating element must fit tightly. Closethe lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the unit.3. Select the desired cooking programme by pressing the “Menu” button (correspondingindicator lights up and default time for the programme is displayed).4. Use “Hour” and “Min” buttons to adjust the time set by default for each programme.5. Set Preset function if needed.6. Press “Start”. “Start” button and Keep Warm function indicators light up. The programmestarts running and its countdown is being displayed. Repress “Start” button to disable theKeep Warm function (Keep Warm function indicator goes off).7. When cooking time expires the device makes an audible sound. Depending on your settingsthe device either automatically enters the Keep Warm mode (“Reheat/Cancel” buttonindicator lights up, count up is displayed), or the standby mode.8. To interrupt or to cancel the programme or to disable the Keep Warm function press“Reheat/Cancel”. |
