Install the air duct run. Secure the duct to theduct collar on the unit and the fan housing with 3screws per end.Diagram 2: Side View - Secure fan housingto minimum 45mm framing.Diagram 1:Front ViewRound Air Duct: Attach the 152.4mm round airduct (supplied) to the fireplace collar and run theduct to the fan housing. Attach the round-to-ovaladapter to the fan housing and the air duct tothe adapter45mmRound to OvalAdapterFan HousingSecure with 3 Screws andAluminum Duct Tape at UnitAir Duct4. Install the On/Off switch in a convenientlocation. This switch controls the fan operation.NOTE: Variable speed or Rotary 3 speed switch(not supplied) can be fitted.5. Wire up the the fan, wall switch and powersupply per local codes. See wiring diagram asreference.*Electrician to supply wiring6. Screw fan junction box to the fan housing.7. Screw the Register Adapter Frame and theAir Register to the Fan Housing See Diagram 4.8. Remove the knockout on the top of the unit.Remove the second knockout, located belowthe top knockout.Diagram 412.7mm45 x 90 mm9. On the top of the unit, bend the 3 tabs up. Insertthe Duct collar. Secure the collar to the 3 tabs withscrews.10. The fan duct is now ready to be attached to theunit. Slide the ducting over the collar and securewith screws.11. Final step is to double check the fan ductingconnections at both the unit and fan. Next en-sure there is a minimum of 25mm clearance tocombustibles.
