TO RESTRICT ACCESSTO A DECORATIVE GAS APPLIANCEOR STOVE, INSTALL AN ADJUSTABLESAFETY GATE TO KEEP TODDLERS,YOUNG CHILDREN AND OTHER AT RISKINDIVIDUALS OUT OF THE ROOM ANDAWAY FROM HOT SURFACES.4) To prevent injury, do not allow anyone whois unfamiliar with the operation to use thedecorative gas appliance.5) Wear gloves and safety glasses for protectionwhile doing required maintenance.6) Maximum gas inlet pressure = 1/2 psig.7) Under no circumstances should this appliancebe modifi ed. Parts that have to be removed forservicing should be replaced prior to operatingthis appliance.8) Installation and any repairs to this applianceshould be done by a qualifi ed service person.A professional service person should be calledto inspect this appliance annually. Make it apractice to have all of your gas applianceschecked annually.9) Under no circumstances should any solid fuels(wood, paper, cardboard, coal, etc.) be burnedin this appliance.10) The appliance and its individual shutoff valvemust be disconnected from the gas supplypiping system during any pressure testing ofthat system at test pressures in excess of 1/2psi (3.5kPa).The appliance must be isolated from the gassupply piping system by closing its individualmanual shutoff valve during any pressure testingof the gas supply piping system at test pressuresequal to or less than 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).11) The appliance area must be kept clear andfree of combustible materials, (gases and otherfl ammable vapours and liquids).It is highly recommended to protect theinterior from moisture (rain, snow). Coverthe enclosure opening when not in use. Thisdecorative gas appliance is only for usewith the type of gas indicated on the ratingplate. This decorative gas appliance is notconvertible for use with other gases, unless acertified kit is used.12) Stainless Steel/ Sunset Bronze WeatherCover must be removed when burner is inoperation.13) When not using appliance for extended periodsof time - turn off gas supply and install StainlessSteel Weather Cover.Emissions from burning wood or gas couldcontain chemicals known to the State ofCalifornia to cause cancer, birth defects orother reproductive harm.
