11 Place an espresso cup under the dispensing spout.BREWING TWO ESPRESSOS USING WHOLE BEANSPlace two espresso cups under the dispensing spout.Place a container under the steam wand then turn the controldial to the “ ” position.2345Once heated, a 1-minute rinse/self-cleaning cycle with fresh water will beginautomatically. Place a container under dispensing spout to catch water.Before using the machine for the first time a manual rinsecycle must be initialized. Place a container under the steamwand then turn the control dial to the “ ” position. The“ ” light flashes slowly and water will start to dispense.Dispense all water until the " " light is illuminated and thenrefi ll the water tank.When water dispensing stops, the “ ” light flashes slowly. Turn the control dialto the “ ” position. The machine is now in warm-up mode and the “ ” light willfl ash slowly.BREWING AN ESPRESSO USING WHOLE BEANS2 Press the “ ” button to start brewing.2 To brew two espressos press the “ ” button twiceconsecutively and the machine will begin brewing.NOTE: Brewing two espressos requires two grinding andbrewing cycles, automatically carried out by the machine.1423HOW TO FROTH MILK USING THE STEAM WANDFill a frothing pitcher 1/3 of the way with cold milk.Immerse the steam wand into the milk. Turn the controldial to the " " position.NOTE: Steam will begin dispensing when the machinereaches the optimum temperature.Froth the milk by gently swirling the container and moving it up anddown. When the milk froth has reached your desired consistency,turn the control dial back to the “ ”position to stop steam dispensingand end the process.After each use, clean the steam wand as described in the user manual.1243Fill the water tank again up to the MAX level indicator.Place a cup under the dispensing spout.
