If you opt for a rear connection, the connector must be turnedone quarter. This is performed as follows:1. Remove the fire-bricks on the left and right2. Then remove the baffle plate3. Now unscrew the 2 screws of the connector4. Turn the connector and follow the above procedure in reverseorderFor connection onto a flexible pipe (existing mantelpiece), theconnector must be unscrewed and secured onto the pipe. The appliancecan then be inserted into the existing mantelpiece, and the connector issecured through the inside of the combustion chamber.The diameter of the chimney should match the diameter of the flue outlet of the appliance., Please note the followingregarding the diameter of the chimney: The diameter of the chimney may not be reduced. Also, the flue outlet must fit the chimney perfectly. If there is too much chimney draught, then a damper must be incorporated. The chimney may not draw in extra air. Watch out for flue dampers and cleaning hatches in the cellar or on theroof! The flue outlet must be securely attached to the connector pipe.ATTENTION!It’s important that all parts of the chimney are fitted airtight.
