It can replace classic, manual thermostatic head in avery quick and easy way. For proper operation of the TRV head it is necessaryto synchronize it correctly with wireless thermostat using the CO10RFcoordinator or UGE600 Internet gateway (all devices are sold separately). TRVhead paired with the iT600RF series digital thermostats (e.g. VS10RF / VS20RF/ HTRS-RF (30) / HTRP-RF (50) / TS600) provides comfort within the wholeroom, not just in the radiator area.Product ComplianceThis product complies with the essential requirements and other relevantprovisions of Directives 2014/53/EU, 2014/30/EU, 2011/65/EU. Installation must becarried out by a qualified person in accordance to national and EU regulations.The TRV head is a modulating device. This means that the valve can begradually closed or opened, depending on the current room temperaturemeasured by thermostat and the setpoint temperature.For MMA or Herz M28x1,5 thermostatic valves makesure you have a metal washer as shown in the picture.For a standard thermostatic valve with M30x1,5thread (e.g. Oventrop, Honeywell, TA, Heimeier)TRV10RFM head installation looks like as shown inthe picture.When mounting the TRV10RFM head on the DanfossRA valve (see picture), please use the RA adapterincluded with the head. However, to install theTRV10RAM head it is necessary to use the AllenWrench key.NOTE: For the Comap valve with M28 thread you donot need to mount a metal washer.TRV head is compatible with most of the thermostatic valves available onthe market, however, before installation, please check whether the valve issuitable for use with the TRV head.Put the RAadapter on theDanfoss RAvalve.Place TRVhead on thevalve.Tight RAadapterand screwTRV10RFMhead on it.Assembly tothe valve andtighten only2 out of 4screws.Measure the thread diameter.Thread for the TRV10RFM musthave a diameter of 30 mm, and forthe TRV28RFM - 28 mm.Remove the battery cover located onthe side of the device.When the LED diode lights upcontinuously with a red color,screw the TRV on the valve.When the LED goes out and TRVhead does not make any sounds,adaptation process is finished.Equipment is ready for pairingwith thermostat.Press any button to start theadaptation process of TRV head withthermostatic valve. The process takesup to 5 minutes.Insert the batteries according to themarkings and close the battery cover.The LED will start blinking green /red informing about the softwareversion.Measure the height of the valve’spin when it is in the open position.For TRV10RFM valve’s pin heightshould be 13-15 mm, while forTRV28RFM 10-11 mm.dismantle the old radiatorheadradiatorvalveTo achieve the best possible results in cooperation between the thermostatand the heating source, it is recommended to use the RX10RF receiver.RX10RF turns on the heat source depending on the demand signal sent bythermostat.
